Text Message (SMS) Terms & Conditions
1. Program description
BDE Bethel LLC, operating as Bethel Power Equipment, Park City Power Equipment, Best Round Golf Car and Conway's Power Equipment (together, "we", "us"), sends employment-related text messages to employees and managers who have opted in. Messages include: confirmation that a time-off request was received, the decision on a request (approved or denied), approval requests and reminders sent to managers, and short scheduling notices. Messages are informational; we do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program.
2. How you opt in
You consent to receive these texts in one of these ways: (a) by entering your mobile number on our BPE HQ site at hr.opebybde.net and checking the box "Yes, text me about this request" (see how the opt-in looks); (b) by asking your store manager to set "Text me" to Yes on your employee record — you then receive one text asking you to reply YES to confirm, and nothing else is sent until you do; or (c) by texting START to our BPE HQ texting number, (475) 242-0857. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment or of any purchase. You can always use the BPE HQ site and email instead.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your own requests and, for managers, with the requests you approve. Most people receive between 1 and 10 messages per month.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for the terms of your plan. We do not charge for this program.
To stop: reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation text and nothing further. You can opt back in at any time by replying START.

5. Supported carriers
Messages are sent to U.S. mobile numbers on major carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular and others). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Replying to messages
Managers may reply to an approval request with a short code shown in the message (for example "A 417" to approve or "D 417" with a short reason to deny). Other replies are not monitored in real time; for anything else, use the BPE HQ site or call the store.
7. Privacy
Your mobile number and your consent are used only to deliver the messages described above. See our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always at opebybde.net/sms-terms. Continued participation after a change means you accept the updated terms.
